Goodbye Workweek, Hello Four Day Weekend!

lesson 26: I drive to work every morning on I-76. The locals call it the Schuylkill (SKOO-kull). This makes me smile.

This is a picture I borrowed from Wikipedia of Philadelphia and the Schuylkill River which runs adjacent to I-76.

We had our Free People store experience today. Free People just started opening stores a few years ago, and they are as beautiful and artfully done as Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. All of the furniture and decor is hand selected for each store. The frame of one of the chairs was hand picked from the middle-East and the upholstery came from a village in India. It all comes together to make for an amazing shopping experience even if you don't notice the individual pieces.

We also walked around the mall and went into a few competitors' stores. We were very proud that we can intern for a company that spends so much time and money giving the customer an amazing shopping experience. The URBN stores are more like a flea market where discovery and individuality are encouraged.
