lesson 23: Things rarely go as planned. This isn't a new one, but it is nice to be reminded every now and then.
Today, I met up with my parents and the Wilsons at Valley Forge. The GPS sent me to the convention center in Plymouth Meeting which is about twenty minutes from where I should have been (twenty minutes... that's not too bad, but it was only supposed to take me thirty to get to Valley Forge, and I had already been driving for about eighteen at this point.) Oh well, I missed the tour. Had fun sitting outside the visitor's center, eating lunch at the King of Prussia [the second largest mall in the US (I think)], and touring the Philadelphia Museum of Art in one hour flat. We could have had an extra thirty minutes but the GPS thought Mom and Dad should see the "real" Philly and took us on a detour (aka a big loop).
All in all it wasn't a bad day. I still haven't had a cheesesteak though.
