Broadening My Horizons

Lesson 17: When I first came to Philly, it made me a little nervous to drive through the "bad" part of town. I have come to find out that Philly has a way of lowering my standards... uh, I mean, broadening my horizons.

Here is a picture of us at the Ronald McDonald House!

A few of us interns left work early today and went to serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House in Philly. I am so grateful that URBN is giving us opportunities to do things like this while we are here! Ronald McDonald House takes amazingly good care of the families staying there and has several amenities that you wouldn't even find at a resort. Someone asked what part of the house the families enjoyed the most. It wasn't the fitness room, the playstation room, or even the movie theater. The best part of the house was having a private room that they didn't have to worry about paying for and having meals that they didn't have to worry about preparing.
